Plane Trip 4/20/11

4/20/11
Well currently at the moment I am on an airplane with gabriel and we are flying back home to florida. The Holy Spirit has been putting on my mind many new chapters lately. There are so many tests that we each go through and when we realize them, we then try to change ourselves and try to catch ourselves. I have tried this myself, and fail over and over with it. We have to literally give it to God and walk away. The best way I can summarize it is with a child. If we have to take a child to daycare, school, etc and we have to hand over our child no matter how hard it is to do, and just walk away and trust that everything is going to be ok. That is how we need to be with the Lord. We need to literally hand it over and let him work it out and we need to have patience. This trip to Ohio was an eye opener to me, I realized that I can wish and hope but I need to fully trust in God. I have been trying to prepare for weeks for something in my family and I feel like I failed at this trip because it ended short, and there were no results, and more things went wrong that I didn’t even anticipate. It really hurt to see what has happened but it opened my eyes and I believe matured me to see that I never fully gave it to the Lord. I thought I did, but this trip showed me that I didn’t. I did realize however that we need to keep moving forward. If you spend your life trying to fix someone or a problem or try to re-build the past, then we can waste days, weeks and even years when we are really missing out on what God has planned for us. I need to keep praying as a prayer warrior because that is where we can fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. I will keep praying and keep seeking God’s face but most importantly to keep moving forward ahead. It takes too much time and energy to get down and stay in that situation. If it is in our means to remove ourselves from a negative situation, then take that chance and get out of it and try to find the learning experience out of it. People tend to always “write” people off and that is not the right thing to do. It is best to pray for those that do that, and keep praying and seeking and when and if that person comes around, then you are all prayed up and there for that person and enlightened with the right things to say from the Holy Spirit. I felt it was very important to write this message. I have my beautiful baby sleeping next to me on this plane and an amazing loving husband that waits for me at home and I realize that I have a lot more work to do as a wife and a mother, but my God am I going to keep striving to become a better woman and a more christian woman that God wants me to be. So my best advice is FULLY give it to God and most importantly have NO expectations. I will say it again, have NO expectations!! katyRose

Duties:

As christians we really have many duties that we must fulfill.  We all have "our" daily lives that we do on a daily basis and we can easily get caught up in those things. Let see, I just recently had a baby so I am still  adjusting to this new schedule.  But do you understand that as christians there are no excuses. We aren't too busy and we can always get something done, that is important to us.  It is all about priorities and what we consider to actually follow through it.  A thought constantly runs through my  head that we get so wrapped into our routines that we can easily miss signs from God and people that we are supposed to minister to.  There is so much that we can do if we just sit down and make everything fit.  The enemy wants us to get so busy with ourselves and wrapped up with our own familes that we just forget about everyone else and the world, and the absolute God honest truth is that  we are made here for Jesus and to become disciples for him and to minster to others to save lost souls.  Think and ask yourself this on a weekly basis how many people are you able to meet and minster to?  I can honestly say in my life it could be alot better.  I am around the same people and it is time to start changing it up.
A thought did come to mind because as I mentioned earlier there are no excuses so if we are not able to minster to others there is still something else we can do.  We are able to pray, pray, pray.  We can pray for lost souls, we can stand on Jesus Promises for lost souls.  We can plead for others lost souls.  To sum it all up, we can become prayer warriors for those that aren't able to pray for themselves. We need to pray for the weak ones that are falling into temptations of the evil one.   So if you understand what i am saying; say this prayer out loud :  - Lord Jesus, help me to realize when you are speaking to me, enlighten me with your bright shining light, have the Holy Spirit fill me up with his love and let me know who and what I should be praying for,  Help me to step outside of my routine and what i know.  Help me to pray for those who can't pray for themselves.  lord Jesus, use me, use me as a living vessel I want to be your disciple and I want to lead lost souls to you my God, so I pray for divine appointments my jesus, let me fulfill your will.  let your will be done in my life and let me become dead to my own,  In jesus name I pray. Amen

3/19/2011 Birthday Thought.....

Well I am another year older and hopefully wiser :).  It is such a privelage to be alive this long on this earth, it truly is.  To be giving another day to glorify God and learn about his love is undescribable.  I am greatly enjoying my journey with the Lord and learning so much each day.  I love to get the opportunity to be able to share what I know with others, and learn from others.  The Lord pours out so many blessings and sometimes we can miss them and take them for granted.  It is so important to be appreciative for what you do have.  I am finally with the "2011" crowd now, and by saying this, I am saying that i finally updated my ipod to an ipod touch and i am very excited about this because I can now listen  to chrisitan podcasts.  I want to keep hearing inspiration and bible scripture throughout the day.  I was listening to my first podcast and it was amazing and i learned that we need to get up each day and ask God for his Will to be done, but also to ask for suffering.  Now when I first heard this, it really caught my attention because I always stay positive and hope for a good day.  But we are supposed to ask God for a great day, his will to be done, and to endure suffering each day and this is so we can glorify him and have our faith strengthened.  I loved this and owned this when i first heard it.  I love it love it love it :)  Eachday there are going to be things that are not going to go our way and it is up to us on how to handle them and they should be for the glory of God.  It really makes a difference to the people you associate with, the music you listen to, and how often you converse with God.  We all want all the blessings, but whenever the trials come along, we lose it and want to run and hide. That is the time we should stand even more strong with the Lord.  I am greatly working on this myself and I have Hope that I will one day get there.  i will never have it all together, but I am going to try and give it all I got, while I am alive on this earth.  We have to practice what we preach.  So a little extra thought for you......what do you think your gift from God is? What do you think his will is for you?  if you have an idea try to explore it really in depth this week and see if you can see God give you a great sense of direction to let you know you are on the right path!!!   God Bless, katy Rose

GIVING 2/16/11

Giving can be looked at in several different ways.  Some can imagine giving as an actual gift being given to someone else.  Some can also imagine giving to be looked at, as giving your time to someone or an event.  When I mention giving in this blog I am referring to everything mentioned and including (yourself).  "Giving Yourself" is the biggest gift you can do and the best thing you can do.  When you associate with people you can give people a good attitude, be a godly person, and literally drop all pride and be humble.  When you start having thoughts, start changing those into good thoughts and literally ask the Holy Spirit to draw them out of you.  Just by doing this on a daily basis, you will develop good habits, and others will start to notice that you aren't like everyone else.  People will still mistreat you, take advantage of you, etc but at least you are doing what is godly and doing what jesus commands us to do.  "love God with all your mind, heart and soul." and "love your neighbor as yourself."   Loving people and accepting people is never an easy task, especially when you get stepped on repeatedly. There is no magic trick to when it gets easier because the fact is that it will NEVER be easy.  So the best thing to do to embrace it, is to arm yourself with scripture and church so that you can do it Gods Way.

2/9/11- "The Workout Theory"

Ok so this post today is something that I thought of and to me it seemed like a good way to organize what I wanted to say.  So "The Workout Theory,"  basically everyone wants to look good so they feel good about themselves, so they are healthy and so that others think they look good.  So people will watch what they eat, they will train and make sure they set time aside just so they can train and accomplish these things.  People do it because you see results, and the minute you see results you become motivated even more and work out even harder so you see the results faster.  With that happening you build confidence, and higher self esteem, which means you are in a better mood, a joy to be around, etc.
So i am going to take this deeper now.  Let's get spiritual, wait let me get even deeper, let's get to talking about a "relationship with Jesus."  Everyone thinks just the fact that you "know about Jesus" is good enough.  Everyone has heard about the price paid and has a basic understanding of what it is all about but why settle??  That is like just working out the bare minimum and dieting the bare minimum, what happens is that you won't see the results and when you don't see them you get discouraged and give up and you aren't motivated to even try harder so you just settle with a basic routine because it is the easy way.  Now what if you explored a deeper more intimant relationship with jesus, actual good time invested with him.  Daily talking to him, reading the Bible , studying devotionals, attending church, spending time with godly people, preaching to people about jesus, etc. What would happen is that the Holy Spirit would ignite in you with such a flame that you would understand even more and want and yearn for even more.  You would get more hungry for the word and you will not settle because it makes you feel more alive and you actually understand what Jesus wants for you and what you are promised.
People invest so much time with the "outward" appearance and will always set time aside to accomplish that so they see maximum results, why priorities so mixed up?  When you work out you have to make sure you do it everyday because if you start missing a few days, then you become un-motivated and stop doing it.  Same goes for when you start becoming more intimant with our savior, if you don't set time aside and do it everyday then you will stop doing it and become discouraged and lose focus.  So it needs to be a daily thing, it is SOOO important to have a relationship with Jesus so it should be number one to set time aside everyday to be with him and study the word, that is the only truth in this world of lies from the devil.  So cling on to the only truth.  I know that since the Bible is the only true thing in this world, then why do people not read it??  I sure as heck want to know what the truth is and learn more and more about it.
So the "workout theory" is as simple as this.  Do it everyday!! Since people are so involved into making it a priority to look good and they don't miss a day, get into that routine with Lord.  Do it everyday!!!

Greatly Inspired :) :) :)

Church, Church, Church I am deeply in love with church :).  It gives you the extra boost you need to get going in the right direction.  I absolutley love my church and the service.  I honestly don't know why people look at church as boring or just don't go because they aren't motivated.  Find a church that you look forward to, or that excites you!!!!
Why are people constantly searching for things and posessions to satisfy them??? Do you realize that there is nothing that will satisfy you?? People continually work to their goals but eventually the goals are going to run out, then what?  You need something that won't run out, someone that won't ever fail you or disappoint you or ever let you down.  Do you know anybody here on earth that can give you that guarantee??? NOPE!!!!! The answer is Jesus!!!  He is always there waiting for you to reach out to him, we all go on our "own"timing or what works best for us.  Do you realize that if you really are all about jesus then there is no "our timing" it is all his time!!!! So if you arent making time for Jesus each day then he isn't a priority in your life.  Now why not? Oh because people place other things higher and make other prioritys more imporant. What is more important than Jesus?  People are so into appearance and to be honest it is a distraction, that is what the enemy wants you to focus on so you aren't focused on the inside which is the most important.  This outside appearance is a shell that is all it is, the real substance is on the inside.  So get with it!!! Get to church, no excuses, get in the word, no excuses. Do you think you have all the time in the world?? Nope!!!!

2/1/11 My Personal Advice ;)

I am no therapist but I thought it would be interesting to make a blog about things I believe and live by and try to mold my life by and share them with others.  So this is my blog about what I personally believe and things I do. enjoy haha :)

Work-  It is a means to an end, it isn't supposed to be the perfect fit because most aren't lucky to have the "perfect job".  Work to be productive and to have a paycheck so you can make it in this world to just survive.  To not support a luxurious life, but the necessities and a little extra just to treat yourself ocassionally.

God- Constantly talk to him as if you had your best friend "shadowing" you the whole day.  Everytime someone pisses you off, or some surprise comes, talk it out with God and lean on him.

Family- Each day you are able to wake up and your family members are still alive that day, give them love and praise and constant words of encouragement, because it could be the last day.

Mean people- This covers majority of people because everyone has an attitude, at all means BE DIFFERENT, don't do what everyone else would do, or act like, or react like.  Literally turn the other cheek, pray for the strength and confide in a loved one, if you need to vent.

Spouse- They are a gift from God and your partner for life, wait, did you hear what i just said? FOR LIFE!!! That means when you are married, no divorce!!!! When we are no longer on this earth and have eternity with the Lord, we are no longer "married" so that is why it is so important to cherish one another while alive on this earth.

Children- Etify, Etify, Etify always lift them up and encourage them, speak life into them, never give up on them.  Be a mentor take the time and put the work in, if you put the actual "work" in of being a "real" parent it is a full time job and it is tiring and hard.  It is easy to stick your kid infront of the tv,etc. Put the actual work in and mold and shape a childs life.

Fitness- So many people are out of shape and have no excuse except lazyness.  What is mentioned earlier? Be different, don't be like everyone else.  Take pride in your body and take care of it, it is a temple so treat it like one.
