5/7/2010 Life is Truly a Blessing

It is such a blessing to be able to wake up each morning and be alive and healthy and able to experience the gift of another day!! We are truly blessed and this is something that we should never take for granted!! it sometimes takes for something bad or unexpected to happen, for us to truly appreciate this and it shouldn't be that way. Rejoice and enjoy life's true blessings and gifts, don't take things or people for granted. I was once told by a Pastor, that no matter what the sun is going to rise in the morning, no matter what mood you are in, so you can either be positive or negative. it is our choice!! The biggest thing I can preach on is to cherish the things in life that really matter. God, family, friends, and the gift of life. All of these earthly things that are forced upon us are just a distraction and don't mean anything in the end. We are all judged on how we lived our lives individually and nobody can help one another out in the end. If you aren't living your life accordingly, then this thought should scare you. The good news is that if you are still alive right now, you can start today and change the way you life today, before it's too late!! Get connected with the bible, spread the good word, be kind to one another, we aren't supposed to have the mind set of "eye for an eye." It is also important to be in fellowship with one another and get to church and worship and praise the Lord with other believers and form connection with godly people. We are definitely in the end times, and we should be coming together even more now and focusing on God's word. Rejoice and be happy that you re alive today, and its not too late to start, so start now!! Find a good church that can get you through the coming week, and when times get rough turn to the bible and on the go, get the book "Gods Promises" and that will pull you through the hard times when the enemy tries to catch you off guard. There are tricks to arm yourself in God's Armor. As my favorite bible verse in Ephesians says: Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powerful forces of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
