Preparation....

There comes a time in our life where we come face to face with a circumstance/battle/situation and we are faced with.... "How Well Did We Prepare?"

Many times in life things come up and we find ourselves shocked or at a loss of words because we were not expecting it.  There is so much wisdom in the Word of God about this particular topic.

So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself.  Each day has enough trouble of its own. -Matthew 6:34

We are supposed to focus on one day at a time.  Many times we have the fear of the unknown and plan ahead in advance of what could or could not happen.  We have to remember that we have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.  (2 Timothy 1:7)

When I first started reading the Bible I started in Ephesians and fell in love with this verse: The Armor of God

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. -Ephesians 6:10-18

This Bible verse painted such a visual picture for me, and I could truly envision the spiritual battle that takes place in the Heavenly Realms.  It made me understand that day in and day out, we are in a battle and it is not in the flesh.  There are things happening behind the scenes that we cannot see, and we must be bold with our faith walk and speak the word of God and take captive of every thought that presents itself against God.

Now I have been an athlete my whole life and I know a couple things here and there about Preparation.  I understand that practice is key. It is important to put in the work, work hard, and to never give up.  I have always been the type of player that stayed late after practice to train a little bit longer, or work on an area of weakness that I was struggling in.  In the Bible this is no different.  We must read, study the Word Of God, and then walk it out.  This faith walk is one step at a time and it is a privilege.  We get to be an ambassador for Christ Jesus and we should not take that lightly.  I understand that each morning we are to get our minds "right."  We are to "put on" the mind of Christ Jesus and get dressed properly in our spiritual armor, because we have no way of knowing what is going to come our way for the day.

I want to be properly dressed, and ready at ALL TIMES!!  I do not want the enemy to catch my off guard, or by surprise.  I remind myself of who I AM IN CHRIST JESUS and that God never leaves me or forsaken me.  We cannot control what happens to us, but we CAN control on how we act during our situations and circumstances.  Will we have the peace of God in the middle of a storm?  Only YOU can answer that.  God's peace is there for the taking, but many walk alone and choose to do everything in THEIR strength.  I don't know about you, but I want to be prepared in ALL circumstances.  The battle has already been WON and as believers, we ALREADY walk in victory.

Many times I see so many believers with their heads hanging low, and they look defeated.   RISE UP!!! Jesus lives IN us, and we can do ALL things because HE will equip us and give us the strength we need!!

So I want to close this post with these questions: Are you properly dressing yourself spiritually each morning?  Is the peace of God a priority on your list?  Can you quote the word of God when a situation arises?  It is time as believers to Fight and Walk this life out in Victory and be Prepared as an ambassador of Christ!!

Back To Poundin The Pavement....

Back to poundin the pavement again!  I have been mainly focusing on HIIT workouts and I just recently started adding running into my program again.  The one thing I can brag about is my new running shoes, Mizuno Wave Rider 21.  I have high arches in my feet and I have always had to have an expensive  insole to make up for my high arch.  The way this shoe molded to my feet, gave me instant support.  My feet felt fully supported and I was able to complete my HIIT training in them.

These are my new favorite running shoes because they are so comfortable.  I am excited to finally be back to running and to not have foot pain.  I am an advocate for always switching it up with workout gear and shoes.  It is important to keep yourself feeling great and looking great.  It is nice to have style and support.  It is empowering to be an athlete and to become better with age.  I believe in challenging yourself DAILY and being the BEST version of YOU.  We owe it to ourselves and to our family members!!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Mizuno. The opinions and text are all mine.

Team Carbon38

My name is KatyRose.  I was always told to "be" a certain way or to "fit in."  The truth is I NEVER fit in.  I always felt different.  I liked to be original, and never followed the crowd.  If there were two categories: Leader & Follower, I would definitely be a Leader!

I believe in being unique and being BOLD.  It took me a LONG time to fully FIT into what has always felt natural for me.  I stopped living for OTHERS and began truly being myself.  I would put up a facade and give people what I thought they wanted.  I was a people pleaser and finally learned that you cannot please EVERYONE.  I believe in pushing the limits and boundaries.

I believe looking fear and failure straight in the eye and saying "NEVER!"  I am a follower of Jesus Christ and make no apologies for it!!  I fully with my whole heart accept him as Lord and Savior and believe HE is the Way, The Truth and The Life!!  I live to be the BEST version of me for myself and my family!!  I believe in setting a healthy lifestyle spiritually and physically!! I believe 100% in forgiving those that hurt you, and that love covers a multitude of wrong doings.  I strive to be a peacemaker in my home and in life!!  I am 33 years old and I am a Wife & Mother!!

I am on the path to being in the best shape of my life and empowering others along the way.  You can be greater with age and even be Sexy!! Trainer For Team Carbon38....

I am excited to announce that I am now an Ambassador/Trainer for Carbon38.  I am very particular with who I represent when it comes to Fitness.  I have always felt that there were many similar brands on the market that all look the same.  It seems fitness apparel is on an all time high at the moment and everyone is seen wearing similar clothing styles.  I have never cared about brands when it comes to clothing, but one thing  I have always looked for is: UNIQUE. I like to be different and not look like everyone else.  I truly like to color outside the lines and I like to do it with BOLDNESS
.
I discovered the company CARBON38 through Instagram and as soon as I saw their pieces, I was hooked.  They have a variety of options and their pieces are HOTNESS.  They have swimsuits, bodysuits, leggings, tops, sports bras, jackets, tank tops, sneakers, accessories, yoga mats, mens clothing, and much more.  The thing that amazed me was that EACH piece was unique and didn't look like everything else that was out there on the market. The material that they use for their pieces is Top Notch Quality.  When I ordered my first pair of leggings I couldn't believe the quality of the fabric.  It was thick and form fitted to my body immediately. The material hugs to your body and brings instant comfort that stays in place.  With each order they also send a drawstring back pack which doubles as two gifts in one.  I have worn several pieces from Carbon38 and no matter what I am wearing, I have people stop me and ask me what I am wearing and where can they get it.

I am telling you they are one of a kind, and once you check out their website, you will see exactly what I am talking about.  Carbon38 is my style to a T, and I knew I had to be part of this brand, and was excited to be welcomed to their team as a Trainer.  I 100% believe in this brand and I am passionate about representing them because this is my style and I fully believe in their product.  I wanted to take the time and write a blog post to explain why I am excited to be a Trainer for this company and offer my 20% coupon code with your order. I wanted to include some of their pieces below that I absolutely adore.

Here Is My Coupon Code:

Blindness....

I wanted to talk about an important subject and go into detail on the definition.

Blindness:  the state or condition of being unable to see because of injury, disease, or a congenital condition.  Lack of perception, awareness, or judgement; ignorance.

We all can understand the condition of blindness, it doesn't matter your race, age, gender, maturity level, religious belief, etc.  We all have heard of someone that suffers from blindness or we personally know someone that is blind. That person is not able to see and they have to rely on their other senses to guide them.

There is another form of blindness that i want to mention that not many people talk about.  There is such a thing called: Spiritual Blindness.  I will go into the definition below and go into greater detail.

Spiritual Blindness: To not see Christ, and to not see Christ, is to not see God.  Those who reject Christ are lost and choose to not accept the teachings of Christ. They do not understand Gods manifestations as things are revealed through his word.

The god of this world has blinded their minds to keep them from seeing the light of gospel of Christ Jesus.  If we do not have God then we fall into the devil's schemes and in the end God turns us over to spiritual blindness and eternal condemnation.

This is harder to wrap our minds around because the first definition of blindness is physical.  This second one is Spiritual.  We cannot see it with our eyes but we can feel it with our senses and in our actions of behavior.  I want to paint a very vivid picture because I am visual person.  I want you to visualize 100 people walking around.  All of them are alive, awake, walking, talking, driving to work, working out, playing with their children, sleeping, watching t.v, etc. But 50 of them are Spiritually Awake and the other half are Spiritually Dead.  Now you ask what does Spiritually Awake mean?  This means that when you have Jesus as Lord and Savior the old sinful nature is gone and you are now a new creation IN Christ Jesus.  The key here is that we are to be found IN HIM!! On our own we are Spiritually dead and have NO hope.

There is a spiritual division that goes on in our world today and it stays hidden behind the scenes.  There are people that are easily led by their feelings and situations and this is scary because you can be easily used by the enemy and be led astray.  There are people that cannot see the BIG picture and do not see clearly.  We are taught to not be moved by the things of this world because this world will pass away.  We are to focus on our eternity because that is forever and whether we want to believe it or not there are two places we will end up.  (Heaven or Hell)

That is why it is so important to remain faithful to Jesus through these trying times.  We do not want to get baited by our feelings and emotions.  Some relatives could be Spiritually Dead, co-workers could be Spiritually Dead.  We need to share the good news of Jesus and let out actions do the talking.  Don't bring others down.  It isn't about being "right" it is about being Jesus here on earth and trying to BE Love and show others that Jesus loves them too and came to earth just for them!!

Many religions make you pay money, force things on you, and make you pay a price.  In Christianity, Jesus PAID it all!!! We are told to come to him sick in our sin and heavy burdened and he will carry our sins so we can be found blameless.  He is to take our weight and give us rest.  He is our Healer, He is our Strength, He is our Comfort, He is our Sustainer, He is the Glory and Lifter of our heads, He is our Refuge, He is our Shield, He is the Last Adam, He is the Alpha and Omega, He is the Beginning and The End, He is our Shepherd,  We too once were  lost and he went out  to find the one astray to bring us back to the 99.  He cares about the one that is lost.  Let us be mighty vessels of Christ and go out and do HIS calling and be love, preach love, do not condemn others this is not our job.  We were once lost and blind but now we can see and we are able to fully receive God's love and forgiveness. EVERY person deserves to experience Jesus.
