The Bible says in order to be "Saved" this is what you need:If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (NIV) Romans 10:9.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – (NIV Ephesians 2:8
So in order to be saved we need to confess with our mouth that Jesus is Our Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Many times this can get taken out of context. It is very easy to open your mouth and say "Jesus is Lord" People will want to say that so they can get their ticket to Heaven. The truth is that God looks at our heart, and that is something you cannot hide from God. You can say it from your mouth but not believe it in your heart, and if that is the case, then you are not saved. Once you actually believe it in your heart, the true transformation happens. You have to fall in love (head over heels in love) with Jesus and realize what he did for YOU!!! You were going to hell, You were going to have seperation from God for ETERNITY!! But because of Jesus dying for YOU and suffering for YOU, you can spend ETERNITY with God. God needed a blood sacrifice, in the Old Testament the way to pay for your sins was always through sacrificial animal sacrifice with blood. So in order for the new covenant, there needed to be a blood sacrifice, so Christ was the sacrifical lamb for our sins. If you were the only person on this earth, (population: 1) Christ would of went to the cross just so you would be able to go to Heaven! Once people actually understand that, they understand they NEED Christ, it isn't a choice anymore. They NEED Him EVERYDAY, EVERYSECOND. That is where in your heart you actually believe what he did for you and that he was raised from the dead.
There are points in my life when i was an early believer and actually thought i was saved, but as i matured into a mature christian i really wasn't. So it is so important to actually understand this, and appreciate what God did for you. We are all sinners and fall short of the Glory of God, but because of Christ, we can be with God forever.
I imagine this: when we die, we are standing infront of Gods Throne, and we can stand their boldly because of what Christ did for us. We can look over to the right of the Gods Throne and see Jesus standing there with his blood scarred hands and understand that we were bought and only there because of his sacrifice. Man, do I love the Lord and I cannot wait to do an indepth study of Christ in "Experiencing the Heart of Jesus" and truly get to fall more in love with Our Savior.

My Testimony
I love my Lord as my first love so this is why i have decided to share in one of the many areas, where the Lord has delivered me from. I do not care if any judge me, or changes their opinion of me, I love my Lord with all my heart and this brings all the glory to him.
I was engaged with Carlos (who is now my husband) we found out I became pregnant and it was not planned. Carlos was accepting and excited from the beginning. I on the other hand was not. I was scared and fearful because these were not the plans, I never planned to have children and I knew I had my whole life ahead of me, and this would now put everything on hold. If you would of ever asked me in life if I would ever of considered abortion, I would of sworn under oath that no matter what I would never even consider that. Here I was scared out of my mind, and at this point in my life, I was actually considering abortion. I just wanted to go back to the way my life was before I found out i was pregnant, I didn't care if I ended up alone at the end. I did research on procedures and found areas that do it. I even consulted in people that I knew that had abortions and they told me I would be fine. I then started seeking a few of my closest friends and that is where I was able to let them know how depressed i had become and that at moments i was even sucidial. I withdrew from Carlos and stopped speaking to him, I even told my family i made my mind up and i was going to have an abortion and they stopped speaking to me. I stopped going to church becuase i felt wrong, here i was pregnant and was not married, i was ashamed. I was all alone, and some people started noticing that I was no longer going to church, I had 3 prayer warriors literally praying and fighting for my life and my babies life. I started to have good days and bad days, but the bad days were the worst. Much time went by and I slowly started to get back to church, I started talking to carlos again, the 3 people that were fighting in the throne room of Gods presence started praying over me and over my belly. I started to seek counsel with a Pastor on a regular basis. Months went by and I decided to not have an abortion, I decided to keep the baby. I was depressed for a good amount of my pregnancy, but then finally the Lord started healing me and my heart. My fiancee and I shortly after got married, and then got a place together and started to make it our home. I had my baby on October 6, 2010 and he was 9lbs and his name is Gabriel. He is my angel baby, I had a horrible labor to where I almost lost the baby. He is my miracle baby, God used people to fight for my baby because he thought my baby was important. My God has a plan and will for my baby gabriel. I now cannot imagine my life without my son who is now a big brother. His smile always lights up the room and his laugh always makes me laugh. To think that I almost robbed him for no reason, besides being scared and selfish. The enemy was trying to kill my baby and almost killed me in the process. God loved us so much that he fought for the two of us. My heart is after women who are pregnant and scared to the point where they feel they need to have an abortion. I have been there and know what it is like. My son gabriel will be turning 2 years old this saturday and I am speechless because I am always grateful of what the Lord did for me. The Lord is my first love and that is the reason I wrote this and shared it. Halleluiah to the Lord God Almighty, He is my beloved and I am his. Happy Birthday Gabriel, The Lord loved you when I didn't know how to.

Take the test to see if you truly stand up for christ...
How Bold are you with YOUR faith? Are you able to take a STAND for God?
A lot of people who believe in the Lord would easily answer this without even giving time to think and say “yes, of course I would.” It is very easy to speak it and think that you really truly would. But the truth is that when you are an actual Christ follower you have to deny yourself and follow Christ. That means you have to resist your selfish desires, the flesh desires, etc. Maybe you have some hobbies or habits that you really enjoy doing, and you have been doing them for years. Are they godly? Do they edify the Lord? If not, then that is something that the Holy Spirit will reveal to you, that certain things are quenching the Lords Spirit and he isn’t able to fully be involved in your life. This is where the TRUE TEST comes if you are actually willing to give up things you enjoy in order to please God. If there are people in your life that are not godly and don’t have anything positive to contribute, do you keep them in your life or do you take a stand for God and make some changes? God needs to come first, we must do what is pleasing to him, first and foremost. Do we enjoy “trash” tv shows, movies, songs, etc? If so, do you love the Lord enough to cut them out of your life for him? See how easy it can be to say “yes of course you would?” But when it comes down to it, does your lifestyle actually show you put the Lord first in everything you do. To even just start out with small things, shows the Lord that you love him and have started to make the changes to make him a priority. Best way I can explain it, is when people fall in love with another, they can’t wait to tell their closest friends/family/co-workers etc. That is how it should be with Christ. He is our FIRST love and if anything is getting in the way with that, we need to cut it out, and we should let others know that God comes first in your life and you need to make changes so that happens.

7/3/12 updates....
7/3/12
My little girl is almost here J only a few more weeks and we will meet our latest addition to our family. Our little boy is excited to meet his baby sister and keeps giving my belly kisses. This has been an amazing pregnancy for me, it has been so different from my first pregnancy. It might not make sense, but it has been an easier pregnancy and I am so much smaller this time, I have only gained 15 lbs. Our little nursery has been ready for quite sometime now, and it has been such a joy to sit in the nursery at night and just relax and smile knowing that a little girl is going to be in that room J The Lord has blessed our family in so many ways, and I am so thankful. I am excited to have a full time job as a stay at home mom and fully invest my time into raising godly children and helping shape and mold their lives. I just wanted to give a mini update that our little one is almost here, and we are very excited and everyone is doing well!!! We are hoping to have a little get together and have a little “meet/greet” with our closest friends so they can come over to our place and meet our newest arrival J I will keep everyone posted!! God Bless, Katyrose

Most important dream accomplished today
6/21/12
Today is a monumental day for me, I was finally able to accomplish a dream that I have always dreamed about. I have always wanted to read the whole bible at least one time in my life, and asked that God would let me be alive long enough to at least read the entire bible one time. Today is the day I can proudly say that it was accomplished!!! I am so happy that at the age of 28 years old I was able to read Gods Word from beginning to end. I know when I go the second time through it, I will do more bible study on each book and God will reveal new things to me, that I didn’t see the first time. So I just wanted to share a really special moment that I was able to accomplish today in my life. J

Do I NEED to go to church???
People will argue from time to time, give opinions, excuses, advice, etc regarding whether it is important to go to church or not. Some wrong reasons to go to church: for attendance, for routine/ritual, because someone tells you to, to feel good about yourself, etc. When you actually understand the purpose of going to church, you will go because you WANT to go and it is important to you, and it fills you up (spiritually) in the first paragraph it expresses what Jesus says about church and going to church.
Hebrews 10:25- he encourages meeting with one another and encourages fellowship. Romans 12:5-we all form one body in Christ, and each person is a member so we all form together as one body. 1 Corinthians 12:12-explains the importance of all of the parts and how they form one body. 1 Corinthians 12:14-23- explains how each member cannot do it alone, and how each needs one another to function properly. 1 Corinthians 12:27-this explains what you are and what you are a part of. Ephesians 4:2-we develop the character of Christ through bearing with another in the body of Christ. 1 Peter 4:10- we use our spiritual gifts to serve one another. 1 Peter 5:1-4- Our leaders in the church offer spiritual protection. (Hebrews 13:17)
So now that you know what the Word says and how Jesus instructs us to go and the reasons to go. What I am going to explain is that when we are alone, we have great days and bad days, we succeed and then we fail. We need encouragement from others, we need to be spiritually filled up for the week, we need to be around others who can help us in our spiritual walk, etc. When we meet others in church and make godly connections we are actively using our members in the body of Christ. I can speak from personal experience that doing group bible studies I am able to hear the word and hear how other people have applied it to their life and family. There are so many people in all different places of their spiritual walk to where you can learn or teach someone. I am learning from another woman about how she has brought up her children godly and applied the fruits of the Spirit, to see another women’s boldness in the Lord is just so inspiring and I am like a sponge wanting to absorb as much as I can. Also when we get in the Word and in fellowship God will speak to us and reveal areas in our life where we need to have brought to the surface and exposed so we can get in the process of changing our habits that aren’t godly.
So this hopefully will give you a good reason of why it is so important to find a church and grow and function as a member in Christ.
