The Christmas Nail (TRUE REASON FOR CHRISTMAS)

It's Christmas time at our house
and we're putting up the tree.
I wish I could find some simple way
to remember Christ's gift to me.
Some little sign or symbol
to show friends stopping by,
The little babe was born one day
but He really came to die.
Some symbol of His nail-pierced hands,
the blood He shed for you and me.
What if I hung a simple nail
on my shining Christmas tree?
A crimson bow tied round the nail
as His blood flowed down so free,
To save each person from their sin
and redeem us for eternity.
I know it was His love for us
that held Him to the tree,
But when I see this simple nail
I know He died for me.

12/15/11 The Nogales' are growing :)

We are so excited to find out the news that we are expecting!!!  We did have it planned but it is always in Gods Hands so we were just praying that he would bless us with another baby!!! My due date will be in August :)  I am so thrilled and blessed and grateful and excited all at the same time :)  I catch myself holding my stomach and praising God for this life that he placed in my belly and trusting Carlos and I to raise this child right and godly.  This child has a plan, a soul, and a purpose.  I find myself daydreaming, I wonder what this child will aspire to do , what kind of hobbies will this child like, etc.  I am just so thankful and grateful especially it being so close to Our Saviors Birth!!!  Praise God every season!!!!

December..(true reason for christmas, and my vision)

IT is December J
It is the season for Holiday and also my hubbys’ birthday J  It can be really easy to be so caught up in gift giving, decorating, running around like crazy, etc.  Keep what is important this holiday season and that is J-E-S-U-S!!!!  God loved us so much that he gave us his only son and delivered him to us as HUMAN!!!  This is amazing, and this should be something that you shouldn’t get “used” to hearing.  He experienced everything we experience, and on-top of it he experienced the most pain anyone can experience.  He had the weight of the whole worlds sins on his shoulders and pierced in his skin.  He was innocent, but was found guilty of no crime.  He loved us so much that he died for our sins on the cross, and gave us his robe of righteousness.
When I was in church and the pastor was preaching on something, I had a vision come to me, and of course after church I had to tell my husband my vision because it was so powerful that it brought me to tears.  I saw my husband in Heaven and he was being clothed with jewels, a thick luscious robe of beautiful colors and thick material, and then he looked to the right, and Jesus was standing next to him and he had the crown of thorns, and was covered in blood and scars and wasn’t even recognizable as a person.  Jesus then looked at my husband and said “I did this for you.” “I took your place.”
This is with each person that is saved and has the Lord as their Saviour.  He did it just for you.  This is the true reason for Christmas.  Jesus the King of Kings was born as a human baby and was born as a sacrificial lamb for us.  He bridged the gap between us and God.  We can experience peace because of Jesus and what he did.
Educate yourself, your kids of the true reason behind the season.  Don’t lose focus on what the world says.
