1/25/11 Receive/Marriage....

Two Blogs into one: :)

Receive-  The first blog is to receive God into your heart.  So many people say they are saved, and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and they think that is enough.  It is great to confess it with your mouth and have it in your mind, but what about your heart?  If something is in your heart, you hold it so close to you that your actions revolve around it, you make time for it, you take it into consideration etc.   So if you really take God into your heart, then you will start living the word of God.  You will second guess your thoughts, actions, etc.  People make excuses stating they are too busy, too stressed but the truth is that God is number 1 in your life, and if that is true then there are NO EXCUSES!!  You make time, and how you do that is that you have him in your heart, and make him a priority.  It is too easy to do what everyone else does, and that is be self involved and make it all about "you."  You take that route, then you will lead a life that is never satisfying and you will constantly be going from one to the next looking for fulfillment.  God is the only one that can leave you satisfied, and whenver you have  a problem he is the only one who can mend it the right way.  When you surround yourself with Godly people, you see yourself motivated and enlightened and have help getting on the right track.  If you don't then it is the exact opposite, you will get motivated but it will get you in the wrong direction, a distance away from God.  So Receive God in your heart everyday, remind yourself, make notes if you need to.

Marriage:-    Now alot of people have an idea of how marriage should be and what it is.  The true meaning of a marriage is a covenant between two people and God.  You become joined as one, and you serve God together and he is the center of the bond. God has to be number one in each individuals life before they find a companion.  So when you become married both people have the same view, and that is God is number 1 and the priority.  Next comes your spouse, So since God is first, then your spouse comes second and following that is your children (third)  So if both people have mindset then that is the Will of God for marriage.  Any dispute that arises will be handled and mended because God is the main focus, you don't go with what the "world says you should do."  The husband is the spirtual leader of the entire household that means he takes the most responsibility and also takes blame because he is not to be prideful, he is supposed to show example of the way to live and how to be godly.  If he sees others stepping out of line, it is his responsibility to get them back on track.  Marriage is a very serious comittment that people take lightly because there is so much divorce.  When people take their vows they say for better or for worse.  But it seems people make limits on to what the phrase "for worse" means, because people bail out when it gets hard.  This shows that if each individual really had God first in their life then divorce wouldn't happen, but since people don't then that explains why the divorce rate is up.  So if you are married :)  Cherish God together, worship God together and cherish one another as a couple.  If you aren't married get right with God first on your own and look for the same in a mate and when it is Gods timing it will happen.  God Bless KatyRose :)

1/14/11

Everytime you think you are going through something that seems too hard, too much, impossible, remember one thing:  Jesus has been there.  Do you know that he went through more than anyone else will ever go through on earth???  It is always so easy to play into the "woe" is me, nobody understands, but the truth is that Jesus has been there.  When you study the story and really see all that Jesus went through, it is mind-blowing.  Here he did all of it for us sinners.  Talk about amazement!!!!!!!!!  It mentions that when he was at the garden he fell to his knees and cried out to God and was sweating blood.  There is an actual medical condition for that called :Hematidrosis.  It is when a human is under severe stress that they actually sweat blood.
Have you ever experienced this????   Here we go through out little stress and to us it looks so huge and we make it so much more than it really is.  Can you imagine how Jesus felt? Talk about feeling alone, he literally had the whole worlds fate on his shoulders.  We have no idea of even that type of pressure, and here today people are selfish and think about themselves and so wrapped up in this society and materialistic items.  It really is sad.  Why do people think they have so much time?  Everyone always thinks, "oh I will get around to it, right now i am having fun."  Do you realize that if you wait, your time on earth could be up and you are judged for eternity up until that point.  Doesn't that scare people????  I know that I don't want to waste time here on earth and not waste time reading and studying Jesus and try to spread the word to others.
If your peers aren't into the same thing, then they are only a distraction, be around people that want to see you do good and motivate you.  Everyone always wants to go out and party and to be honest it is all a distraction to take you away from what you should be doing.  It is fine to do it in moderation as long as you don't lose yourself, but people usually make excuses for themselves!!
So next time you want to be dramatic and feel that nobody understands, shut up, pray and start a relationship with God!!!  KatyRose

1/6/11

Well I am proud to say that my little man is 3 months old today :)  How exciting!!!!  He is growing so beautifully and I am at wonder just watching him grow into his own little person.  Well I was reading in my new favorite book last night and a few passages absolutley blew me away.   I will explain what i read in my own words.  It was talking about this world and the ways of "this world" and basically how satan is king of this world because it is all about materialistic posessions, and being envious of one another and basically to only look out for yourself.  I have mentioned this before but the truth is that if you "fit" in good with "this world" then chances are, you aren't too close to Jesus because it is the exact opposite of what he wants.  The more abnormal you are, the better it is because you can keep your mind clear and your heart clean.  We are always going to be sinners, but you can filter in what you choose to see and hear.  Little by little your heart can be heartened, and before you even know it, things become the "norm" to you and you are not bothered.  I caught something on tv and it was a reality show and this couple met one night and just jumped into bed with eachother in the first night of knowing eachother.  This really blew me away, I had to turn my head away because it was so disgusting.  I do not want to pollute my mind with the garbage that is on tv these days.  I know everyone says one thing and does another, but the trick is to catch yourself before you fall too deep.  If you slip up, repent and move on and learn from it, and teach others.  Do you know that the Holy Spirit lives and breathes in you when you accept jesus into your life?  Do you know that he can thrive in you fully or partially?  When you consume yourself with these things of the world, the holy spirit isn't able to reach full potential.  I don't know about you, but I want full potential of Gods Gift.
There was a line in the book and it said "Sin in your life reveals where your loyalties are."  WOW this is sooo true!!!!!!!  If you were to keep a journal of what you did throught the day, your thoughts, what you watched, listened to, etc.  you would see where your loyalites are, and then evaluate them.  How much is God factored into your day??? It should be more than everything else you plan to fit into your day.
So food for thought........... Now is the time to start making a real commitment to the Lord and showing your love for him, don't be like everyone else!!!!!!!!!!! rejoice in being abnormal!!!!!

1/4/2011 it's the new year

It's a New Year 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rejoice and be glad that you are kept alive another year!!!  I am so grateful and thankful, i have so many plans and goals that I am very much ready for 2011 to begin!!!  Lets see here, i just had a baby 3 months ago, so it's obvious that I have had to get insync with my very new and exciting routine!!!  Gabriel is such a good baby boy, he sleeps all through the night and doesn't cry much at all, and he is a smiling baby boy just like his mommy :). Everyone who knows me, knows that i have a smile plastered on my face 24/7.  I am working on finishing the bible I am literally almost done with completing the whole bible and it is very exciting since that has always been my goal to at least read the whole bible one time while here on earth, when i complete that, im starting it all over again but this time going to do intense study on each section.  I am just very excited because I want to live out God's full purpose. I need to make sure I am a godly wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend!!!! So this is something I am working on!!!!  Many blessings to everyone in this beginning 2011!!!

12/29/2010 New Years Resolution

Where do I even start? Wow another year has gone by, can you believe it? Time just goes by so fast, I just wish I could slow it down just a bit. I haven’t written one of these in a very long time, and I feel that since 2011 is right around the corner, it is perfect timing!!! People always make new years resolutions and they usually involve dieting, quitting smoking, etc. Those are all great things, as long as you stick to them, but what about what counts most of all? Being good with God!!!! Now is as good as a time to start a good routine. It takes a daily commitment and dedication with no excuses!!! First thing in the morning, Get with God and spend time with him, throughout the day, speak with God and at night give him thanks for everything!!! We can tend to take things for granted. Everyone is so focused on the outward appearance when that part is all temporary, we all try to fit in society as best as we can, when it is all temporary. When Jesus was here, did he fit in with society? No, he was poor and not in the rich high society class, he stayed out of the limelight. The more in tune you try to be with this world, the farther away from God you become. The simpler the better, and you know where it all starts? With the Bible!!! Get in it everyday!!! Associate with godly people, and get away from the people that aren’t good for you!!! Make a fresh start with your soul, where it counts!!! Once you receive the Holy Spirit you have the guidance you need, but the key is that you need to tap into it everyday to get a better awareness of what Gods Plan is. Its very easy to just stay lukewarm and drift through life with just a little knowledge. How can you be content with just knowing a little??? Always search for more and more, and keep searching until you are no longer here. So this year, don’t do a superficial resolution, do something that counts and that will help you grow into a better person and have a stronger relationship with Jesus!!
On a personal note, I am so blessed beyond belief that I have nothing to complain about. I have an amazing husband and son that are my absolute world!!! I have them in my life because of God and the blessings he has given me. So cherish your loved ones, and make-up with your enemies. Always turn the other cheek. Don’t expect a easy path when following the Lord, you will get slandered over and over because the enemy wants to destroy you and the things God has for you. If you have a chance read Job in the Bible and that explains it.
So have a safe, blessed, New Year!!! God Bless katyrose
